Healing Circles are a cherished tradition found in many indigenous cultures across the globe, embodying a practice of communal support, shared wisdom, and collective healing. We embrace this age-old tradition, offering a nurturing space where individuals can come together to share their experiences, find comfort, and embark on a journey of healing and growth.
Join us for our monthly circle, a nurturing space dedicated to healing, growth, and empowerment. This peer-led circle is open to individuals who have experienced trauma, offering a supportive environment where participants can explore various holistic approaches to recovery. Rooted in Ubuntu – A South African philosophy that emphasizes interconnectedness and shared humanity, we come together as a human family to support each other towards individual and collective wellbeing.
Each month, our circle provides a safe and compassionate space where people of color and allies can come together to embark on a journey of healing and transformation. Each session begins with a grounding meditation or a non-denominational prayer, inviting participants to center themselves and connect with the collective energy of the circle. Participants are then invited to share their experiences, insights, and challenges in a supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere.
Through engaging discussions, shared experiences, and informative talks, we explore a wide range of topics related to holistic trauma recovery, including mindfulness, self-care, cultural healing practices, and more. Each month, we feature a guest speaker who offers valuable insights on holistic approaches to trauma recovery.
